Report of the Resolutions Committee

February 16, 2018

Whereas: We are grateful for the unity of heart and obvious spirit for the cause of Christ and his people in this meeting of Trinity Presbytery.

Whereas: We are thankful for the hospitality and spirit of Christian fellowship of the Freeport congregation as they hosted this meeting of Trinity Presbytery today.

Whereas: We appreciate the ability of the Freeport folks who helped welcome us and organize us “decently and in order.”

Whereas: We were inspired by the devotional and evening worship service that helped promote our Christian unity and enjoy our times to praise God together.

Whereas: We are thankful for the excellent guidance and help of our Stated Clerk, our Moderators, and the other wise sages of our body.

Whereas: We express our gratitude for the movement of the Holy Spirit as evidenced by the shared testimonies of our churches in the sharing of God’s blessings and good church ministries.

Whereas: We thank God for the years of service and ministries of Kevin Colvard and Duane Dougherty as each moves into retirement.

Therefore, let it be resolved: That Trinity Presbytery praises God for all his goodness to us exhibited in so many ways.
