The Board received an oral report from Rev. Fredy Diaz regarding the Trinity Presbytery Pastors’ Fall Retreat. The retreat is scheduled for October 3 and 4, 2014, in Buffalo, Texas, at the property of James and Charelle Webb. The Board decided to use $1,000 from the Camping Line item of the budget of the Board of CE to be dedicated to the Trinity Presbytery Pastor’s Fall Retreat.

The Board received an oral report from Bill Black regarding the 2014 Winter Retreat. The Board offers thanksgiving for Bill Black and Marisa Knight and their leadership and care of the Youth Retreat and decided to reimburse $500 to the First CP Church of Houston for Winter Retreat expenses to be taken from the camping line item of the Board of CE budget.

Recommendation #3

The Board of Christian Education recommends that the next Winter Youth Retreat be scheduled for Saturday through Monday, January 17-19, 2015. The Retreat will cost $25 per participant and will be held at the Webb Property near Buffalo, Texas.
